- الرابطة الوطنية لهواة جمع ساعات اليد والحائط (بالإنجليزية: National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors) (NAWCC) هي منظمة أمريكية غير ربحية، بها نحو 13000 عضوا. تأسست الرابطة في عام 1943 من قبل أعضاء «جمعية قياس الزمن في نيويورك»، ونقابة الساعاتيين في فيلادلفيا الذين رغبوا في إنشاء منظمة وطنية. يشارك الكثير من الأعضاء في أكثر من 160 «فرع» محلي، الفرع المحلي لمدينة نيويورك هو رقم (2)، بينما فرع برج الساعة هو رقم 134. تقع الغالبية العظمى من الفروع في الولايات المتحدة، ويوجد عدد أيضا منها في كندا وأستراليا واليابان. تقام ندوة سنويا في أواخر أكتوبر، حيث يتمكن المتحدثين البارزين من تقديم أبحاثهم والتركيز على موضوع ما. تنشر نشرة ساعة اليد والحائط وملحقها مارت ويبرز (التي تحتوي على كل من أخبار الجمعية والمقالات العلمية في علم قياس الزمن)، وتعقد كذلك اجتماعات محلية وإقليمية ووطنية. تم تأسيس المرصد الوطني ومتحف الساعة في عام 1977 من قِبل الرابطة الوطنية لهواة جمع ساعات اليد والحائط، ولديها الآن مجموعة كبيرة من مقاييس الزمن وتدير واحدة من أبرز مكتبات قياس الزمن في العالم. ويقع المتحف، والمكتبة (المكتبة الوطنية لساعة اليد والحائط) في كولومبيا. كما تدير الرابطة مدرسة الرابطة الوطنية لهواة جمع ساعات اليد والحائط لعلم قياس الزمن، حيث يدرب مصلحي ساعة اليد والحائط احترافيا. تسعى المنظمات الشقيقة الرئيسية في بلدان أخرى إلى تحقيق أهداف مماثلة وهي:

- Die National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) mit Sitz in Lancaster (Pennsylvania) ist eine gemeinnützige Vereinigung von Uhreninteressierten und Uhrensammlern mit etwa 25.000 Mitgliedern weltweit. Die NAWCC wurde 1943 von Mitgliedern der Horological Society of New York und der Philadelphia Watchmakers' Guild gegründet, die eine nationale Organisation schaffen wollten. Die ca. 18000 Mitglieder sind derzeit in 175 einzelne „Chapter“ (Sektionen) organisiert, die sich auf eine Örtlichkeit oder ein spezielles Interessensgebiet beziehen können. So ist z. B. das „Chapter 2“ die Sektion New York und der Early American Watch Club das „Chapter 149“. Die überwiegende Mehrheit der „Chapter“ befinden sich in den Vereinigten Staaten, einige in Kanada und Australien (welche nicht über nationale Vereinigungen von Uhrensammler verfügen) und einige wenige befinden sich im Rest der Welt. Jährlich gegen Ende Oktober wird das sogenannte Ward Francillion Time Symposium abgehalten, eine Veranstaltung auf der bedeutende Redner ihr spezielles Thema und ihre Forschungsergebnisse vorstellen. Eine alle zwei Monate erscheinende Schrift, das NAWCC-Bulletin verbindet lehrreiche Artikel zur Zeitmessung mit internen Nachrichten aus der Vereinigung. Es werden lokale, regionale und nationale Treffen abgehalten. 1977 wurde das National Watch and Clock Museum in Columbia, (Pennsylvania) durch die NAWCC gegründet. Es beherbergt eine große Uhrensammlung und mit der National Watch and Clock Library eine der wichtigsten Bibliotheken für Uhrenliteratur weltweit. Der Hauptsitz der Vereinigung befindet sich ebenfalls in Columbia. Die NAWCC unterhält dort seit 1995 auch die School of Horology, eine Schule, in der Uhrmacher aus- und fortgebildet werden. (de)
- The National Association of Watch & Clock Collectors, Inc. (NAWCC) is a nonprofit association of people who share a passion for collecting watches and clocks and studying horology (the art and science of time and timekeeping). The NAWCC's global membership is composed of nearly 10,000 individuals, businesses, and institutions, with more than 1.25 million users accessing its main website and online Forums each year. The Forums, offer NAWCC members and nonmembers the opportunity to ask questions about watches and clocks. The NAWCC was founded in 1943 by members of the Horological Society of New York and the Philadelphia Watchmakers' Guild who wished to create a national organization focused on providing education and advocacy for horology. Many of the members participate in one or more of the 145 "Chapters" that are based on a locality or a special interest (e.g., the local chapter for New York is Chapter 2 and the Tower Clock Chapter is Chapter 134). The vast majority of chapters are based in the United States, though a number are also in Canada, the UK, China, Australia, and Japan. Special interest chapters range from "British Horology" to "Horological Science." The NAWCC's annual Ward Francillon Time Symposium is held in October, where eminent speakers present their research on a focused topic. The NAWCC provides members with bimonthly publications: the Watch & Clock Bulletin and Mart & Highlights. The Bulletin contains articles from watch and clock professionals as well as amateur enthusiasts. The Mart offers space to advertise timepieces or goods and services useful to NAWCC members, and also provides a venue for NAWCC Chapters from around the world to share their members’ latest activities. The NAWCC and its Chapters hold local, regional and national meetings and events focused on timepieces and timekeeping topics. Many of these events are open to the public. The National Watch and Clock Museum was founded in 1977 by the NAWCC. The Museum has the largest collection of horological artifacts in North America and has one of the largest library and research centers in the world devoted to the study of time and timekeeping. The Museum, the Fortunat Mueller-Maerki Library & Research Center and NAWCC headquarters are located in Columbia, PA. The NAWCC also runs numerous education programs for both professionals and hobbyists at its School of Horology in Columbia, PA. Classes examine topics such as watch and clock repair. (en)
