- Die Nationalversammlung von Suriname (De Nationale Assemblée, Abk. DNA) ist das Parlament von Suriname. Suriname hat ein Einkammersystem. Das Parlament besteht aus 51 Mandatsträgern. Die wahlberechtigten Bürger bestimmen in der Regel alle fünf Jahre in allgemeinen, freien und geheimen Wahlen die Besetzung der Kammer. Die DNA hat nach den Artikeln 71 bis 74 des Grundgesetzes u. a. gesetzgebende, die Regierung kontrollierende als auch organisatorische Funktionen. Neben der DNA kennt Suriname noch die Vereinigte Volksversammlung (Verenigde Volksvergadering, VVV). Dieses Staatsorgan besteht aus den Abgeordneten der DNA sowie den Distrikts- und den Ressorträten. Es tritt zusammen, wenn einer der Präsidentschafts- oder Vize-Präsidentschafts-Kandidaten bei der Abstimmung in der DNA keine Zwei-Drittel-Mehrheit erhält. Die Wahl erfolgt dann durch die VVV mit einfacher Mehrheit. Außerdem besteht in einigen besonderen Fällen die Möglichkeit der Einberufung, wenn eine Zweidrittelmehrheit der DNA dies beschließt. (de)
- The National Assembly (De Nationale Assemblée, The Assembly, commonly abbreviated "DNA") is the Parliament, representing the legislative branch of government in Suriname. It is a unicameral legislature. The assembly has been situated in the former park house at the Independence Square in Paramaribo, after a fire destroyed the old building of representation on 1 August 1996. A reconstruction of the old building was completed in 2022. The 51 members of parliament are elected every five years by open list proportional representation on the basis of the country's component districts. The most recent elections were held on 25 May 2020. The current Chairman of the Assembly, Marinus Bee, was appointed on 14 July 2020. Dew Sharman was appointed as Vice Chairman on 29 June 2020. (en)

- De Nationale Assemblée (DNA) is het parlement van Suriname. Het is een eenkamerparlement. De assemblee zetelt in de voormalige Buiten-Sociëteit Het Park, in 1954 ontworpen door ir. P.J. Nagel aan het Onafhankelijkheidsplein in Paramaribo. Het gebouw werd betrokken nadat op 1 augustus 1996 een brand het oude gebouw van de volksvertegenwoordiging geheel verwoestte. De 51 leden van deze volksvertegenwoordiging worden elke vijf jaar gekozen in algemene, vrije en geheime verkiezingen door de bevolking van Suriname. Sinds de verkiezingen van 2020 is Marinus Bee de voorzitter van de Assemblée en Dew Sharman de vicevoorzitter. Naast De Nationale Assemblée kent Suriname ook de Verenigde Volksvergadering, waarin De Nationale Assemblée, de districtsraden en de ressortraden samenkomen als twee derde van de assemblee dit wenst en daarnaast in een aantal bijzondere gevallen.
