- The Mother of All Marches (Spanish: La madre de todas las marchas), also known as the Mother of All Protests, was a day of protests held on April 19, 2017, in Venezuela against the Chavista government of president Nicolás Maduro. The protests began after the Supreme Tribunal of Justice dissolved the National Assembly and took over its legislative powers March 29, 2017 in what was called a self-coup. The dissolution of the National Assembly was reversed shortly thereafter on April 1, 2017. Opposition protesters originally marched peacefully until their path was blocked by Venezuelan authorities, with some looting and clashes resulting following the confrontation. By the end of that day, three Venezuelans were killed, two protesters and one National Guardsman, and over 500 were arrested. (en)
- La Madre de todas las marchas, ovvero la Madre di tutte le proteste, è stato un giorno di proteste organizzato il 19 aprile 2017 in Venezuela contro il governo chavista del presidente Nicolás Maduro. I moti iniziarono dopo che il Tribunale supremo di giustizia ebbe sciolto l'Assemblea nazionale e assunse i poteri legislativi di quest'ultima il 29 marzo 2017 in quello che fu definito un auto-golpe. Lo scioglimento dell'Assemblea fu annullato subito dopo, il 1º aprile 2017. Inizialmente, i manifestanti dell'opposizione marciarono pacificamente fin quando il loro cammino fu bloccato dalle autorità venezuelane, con saccheggi e scontri successivi al confronto. La madre de todas las marchas), также «Мать всех протестов» — серия массовых антиправительственных выступлений против президента Николаса Мадуро и правительства социалистов, состоявшихся 19 апреля 2017 года в Венесуэле. Поводом для начала протестов стало решение от 29 марта 2017 года о роспуске Национальной ассамблеи (парламента) Венесуэлы. Решение позволяло президенту Мадуро действовать фактически в обход действующей Конституции, что было расценено представителями общественности как государственный переворот. Вскоре после 1 апреля 2017 года решение о роспуске парламента было отменено, но акции протеста всё равно состоялись. 19 апреля на протестную акцию вышло до шести миллионов человек по всей стране, в столице вышло до двух с половиной миллионов человек. В результате столкновений погибли три человека, среди них — один военнослужащий. Общее число протестующих составило около шести миллионов человек, что сделало её крупнейшим выступлением венесуэльской демократической оппозиции с момента начала антиправительственных выступлений в 2014 году.
