- Les Comissions Mixtes d'Armistici (en anglès Mixed Armistice Commissions, MAC) són una organització per controlar l'alto el foc segons les línies establertes pels Acords Generals d'Armistici. Es componia d'observadors militars de les Nacions Unides i era part de la força de manteniment de la pau a l'Orient Mitjà de l'Organisme de les Nacions Unides per la Vigilància de la Treva. Les MAC es componien de quatre seccions per supervisar cadascun dels quatre acords de treva, la , la , la Comissió Mixta d'Armistici Israel-Líban i la Comissió Mixta d'Armistici Egipte-Israel. Les diferents MAC eren ubicades a les línies d'alto el foc i, en estreta relació amb la seu de Jerusalem, encarregades de supervisar la treva, investigar incidents fronterers i adoptar mesures correctores per evitar la recurrència d'aquests incidents. - The Mixed Armistice Commissions (MAC) is an organisation for monitoring the ceasefire along the lines set by the General Armistice Agreements. It was composed of United Nations Military Observers and was part of the United Nations Truce Supervision Organization peacekeeping force in the Middle East. The MAC comprised on four sections to monitor each of the four truce agreements, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan/Israel MAC, the Israel/Syrian MAC, the Israel/Lebanon MAC and the Egypt/Israel MAC. The various MACs were located on the cease fire lines and, through close liaison with headquarters in Jerusalem, were charged with supervising the truce, investigating border incidents, and taking remedial action to prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
