- Medaile Za hrdinství je nižší státní vyznamenání České republiky. Je udělováno jako vyznamenání osob za hrdinství v boji a vyznamenání těch osob, které se s nasazením vlastního života zasloužily o záchranu lidského života nebo značných materiálních hodnot. Má podobu stříbrné medaile s vyobrazením dvouocasého lva a žluté stužky, na které je uprostřed trikolóra. Autorem výtvarného řešení je . Medaile vznikla v roce 1990, totéž vyznamenání se ale udělovalo i před rokem 1989. (cs)
- Die Medaille für Heldentum/ Medaille der Tapferkeit/ Tapferkeitsmedaille (cz. Medaile Za hrdinství ) ist eine staatliche Auszeichnung der Tschechischen Republik. Sie wurde per Gesetz 404/90 am 2. Oktober 1990 durch das tschechische Parlament in einer Stufe gestiftet. Ihre Verleihung erfolgt an all diejenigen, die unter Einsatz ihres eigenen Lebens andere Menschen aus Lebensgefahr gerettet oder Güter von erheblichen wirtschaftlichen Wert unter Lebensgefahr geborgen oder vor schlimmeren Schäden bewahrt haben. Die Tapferkeitsmedaille wird vom Präsidenten oder einem seiner Bevollmächtigten in einen festlichen Akt nebst Urkunde dem Beliehenen überreicht. (de)
