- MTV Latin (auch MTV Latino oder MTV Latinoamérica), ein lateinamerikanischer Ableger von MTV, ist ein Sender im Kabelfernsehnetz Mexikos, Argentiniens und anderer lateinamerikanischer Länder. Am 1. Oktober 1993 ging er erstmals auf Sendung. Er begann mit der Ausstrahlung von spanischsprachigen Musikvideos, aber in den letzten Jahren werden zunehmend auch Videos in englischer Sprache sowie Fernsehserien auf Spanisch und Englisch gesendet. Der Sitz des Senders ist in Miami Beach, jedoch werden von Mexiko-Stadt aus die nördlichen Regionen Lateinamerikas, einschließlich Teilen der USA und der Karibik, bedient. Von Kolumbien aus wird Mittelamerika und von Buenos Aires aus die südlichen Regionen Lateinamerikas versorgt. MTV Latin ist in folgenden lateinamerikanischen Ländern zu empfangen:

La programación se realiza mediante un sistema de dos señales distintas que se distribuyen en la mayor parte de la región. El canal es operado por Paramount Global a través de Paramount Networks Americas. Hasta el día de hoy, MTV es la cadena de música por televisión más grande de América Latina. MTV Latinoamérica inauguró sus transmisiones el 1 de octubre de 1993, operando la señal únicamente desde Miami, Estados Unidos. - MTV is a Latin American pay television network that was launched on 1 October 1993 as the Hispanic American version of MTV. It is owned by Paramount Networks Americas, a subsidiary of Paramount Global. The channel broadcasts music videos as well as reality shows, TV series and movies, which may be directly or indirectly related to music, aimed at the youth. Its schedule is focused on certain musical genres, mainly pop, rock mix, reggaeton (since 2005), hip hop, trap, electronic music, and K-pop (since 2018). Each of these categories includes music in English, Spanish and Korean. MTV Latin America is headquartered in Miami Beach and has two feeds covering the region, centered in Mexico City, Mexico and Buenos Aires, Argentina. The channel has also produced its own versions of MTV reality shows like Room Raiders or Dismissed, but most of the time curse words are not censored in Latin American countries (specially during the watershed time). MTV Ameryka Łacińska jest rozpowszechniany za pośrednictwem satelity, kablówkę i innych dystrybucji poprzez trzech różnych kanałów w Argentynie, Kolumbii i Meksyku. Kanał ma również własne wersje reality show jak Roomraiders lub Zwolniony, ale przez większość czasu złe słowa nie są ocenzurowane w MTV (specjalnie w wododział czasu). Stację tę można oglądać w prawie każdym kraju Ameryki Południowej. MTV Ameryka Łacińskiej jest wiele programów takich samych jak w Polsce. - MTV Latinoamérica (também conhecida como MTV Latino ou MTVLA) é um canal de televisão, versão latina da MTV norte-americana, que cobre toda a região da América Latina. A programação se dá por meio de três sinais distintos que se distribuem por quase toda a região. Começou suas transmissões em 1 de outubro de 1993 e é a maior canal de música por televisão da América Latina. Atualmente, a transmissão do sinal está dividido entre Miami (Flórida), Cidade do México, Bogotá e Buenos Aires. Entre seus programas, encontram-se videoclipes, programas interativos, séries, notícias de entretenimento, programas de humor, animações, eventos especiais, reality shows, mas sempre a ver com a cultura jovem. Sua programação está dedicada a certos gêneros musicais e não engloba outros tipos de música popular dos países em que a mesma é destinada.
