- Der Łuknajno (deutsch Lucknainer See) ist ein 6,8 km² großer See in der polnischen Woiwodschaft Ermland-Masuren. Er liegt in einem Biosphärenreservat und ist nach der Ramsar-Konvention geschützt. Fünf Kilometer östlich von Mikołajki (Nikolaiken) und nahe der Nordwestecke des Śniardwy (Spirdingsee), des größten polnischen Sees gelegen, ist er 3,3 Kilometer lang, durchschnittlich 0,6 m und maximal 3 m tief. Am See liegt das namensgebende Łuknajno (Lucknainen). Der See ist Naturschutzgebiet und seit 1977 Ramsargebiet. Zugleich war er seit 1977 UNESCO-Biosphärenreservat, das 2017 erweitert wurde (nun Biosphärenreservat Masurische Seen). Seine Bedeutung gewinnt er als Brutgebiet für Wasservögel wie Lappentaucher, Wasserralle, Teichrallen, Graureiher, Bartmeisen, Seeadler, Fischadler, Rotmilane, Kormoran und Trauerseeschwalben. Seit langem ist der See als ein einzigartiges Habitat des Höckerschwans bekannt, der hier in großen Zahlen nistet. Zur Mauser können es bis zu 2000 Vögel sein. Der See ist auch Teil eines größeren Schutzgebietes, des Mazurski Park Krajobrazowy. (de)

- Łuknajno [wukˈnajnɔ] (German: Lucknainer See) is a lake in the Masurian Lake District of north-eastern Poland, in Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) east of the town of Mikołajki, close to the north-western corner of Poland's largest lake called Śniardwy. Łuknajno covers an area of 6.8 square kilometres (2.6 sq mi), and has a maximum depth of 3 metres (9.8 ft). The lake is the site of a nature reserve, and since 1977 has been designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and a Ramsar site, in view of its importance as a breeding ground for water birds such as grebe, rail, moorhen, grey heron, bearded tit, white-tailed eagle, osprey, rust-coloured kite, cormorant and black tern. The lake is known since many decades as the habitat of the mute swan (Latin: Cygnus olor) – nesting there every year from a dozen to tens of dozen of pairs, and in time of moult arriving in numbers reaching up to 2,000 birds. The lake is part of the larger protected area known as Masurian Landscape Park. The bottom of the lake is 77% covered with brachiopods (Characeae), potworms (Potamogeton) and spearguns (Myriophyllum). At the banks, there is a strip of reed rush with a small admixture of narrow-leaved cattail and lake bulrush. On the southern and eastern shores, there is a strip of willow thickets and fragments of alders. This creates a favorable shelter for bird nesting and significantly enriches the biotope. (en)
- Łuknajno lub Łuknajny (niem. Lucknainer See) – jezioro położone ok. 5 km od Mikołajek, w województwie warmińsko-mazurskim, w Krainie Wielkich Jezior Mazurskich. Jest jedną z najważniejszych europejskich ostoi ptactwa wodnego. Jest to płytkie jezioro polodowcowe (średnia głębokość 0,6 m; maksymalna 3 m)o powierzchni 680 ha, długości 3,3 km i szerokości 2,9 km. Leży w otoczeniu rozległych łąk i bagien, połączone wąskim kanałem o długości 500 m z jeziorem Śniardwy. Jest jeziorem wytopiskowym, tzn. zajmuje zagłębienie powstałe po wytopieniu się brył martwego lodu z ustępującego lodowca. Podobnie jak inne jeziora tego typu, ma prawie okrągły kształt. Nazwa pochodzi od bałtyjskiego słowa lukne, czyli grzybienie. Łuknajno jest naturalnym tarliskiem ryb żyjących w Śniardwach. Linia brzegowa jeziora jest słabo rozwinięta, pozbawiona zatok i półwyspów. Brzegi są niedostępne, podtopione, zarośnięte trzcinowiskami i podmokłymi łąkami. Zachodni brzeg jeziora jest płaski i zabagniony, natomiast północny i północno-wschodni – lekko pagórkowaty. Na południowo-wschodnim brzegu jeziora leży wieś Urwitałt, w której zlokalizowana jest Stacja Terenowa Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego im. prof. Kazimierza Dobrowolskiego. Stacja jest jedynym zamieszkałym obiektem we wsi. (pl)
