- Liturgiam authenticam je instrukce Svatého stolce z 28. května 2001. Požaduje, aby překlady liturgických textů z originálního latinského znění do národních jazyků byly co nejvěrnější originálu. V instrukci doslova stojí, že „původní text, jak jen to je možné, musí být překládán v co nejpřesnějším stylu, bez vynechání či přidání významu a bez parafrází a glos.“ (cs)
- Liturgiam authenticam (titled: De usu linguarum popularium in libris liturgiae Romanae edendis) is an instruction of the Congregation for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, dated 28 March 2001. This instruction included the requirement that, in translations of the liturgical texts or of the Bible, "the original text, insofar as possible, must be translated integrally and in the most exact manner, without omissions or additions in terms of their content, and without paraphrases or glosses. Any adaptation to the characteristics or the nature of the various vernacular languages is to be sober and discreet." (n. 20) (en)

Entrò in vigore il successivo 25 aprile. Papa Giovanni Paolo II l'aveva approvata il precedente 20 marzo nell'udienza concessa al Segretario di Stato. (it)

* Tres abhinc annos (4 mei 1967) 3.
* Liturgicae instaurationes (5 september 1970) 4.
* Varietates legitimae (25 januari 1994) In deze instructie wordt aan de bisschoppenconferenties gevraagd om de bestaande vertalingen van het missaal in de volkstaal te herzien en te verbeteren. (nl)
