- Seznam druhů ptáků Česka je sestavován a udržován Faunistickou komisí České společnosti ornitologické. Pozorování druhu nového pro území Česka musí být před zařazením do oficiálního seznamu touto komisí posouzeno a schváleno. K 31. prosinci 2021 byl ve volné přírodě v Česku potvrzen výskyt 402 druhů ptáků (kategorie A, B, C). Ptáci jsou podle charakteru výskytu rozděleni na základě dohody Evropské asociace faunistických komisí do 5 kategorií:
* Kategorie A (druhy pozorované alespoň jednou po roce 1950 včetně)
* Kategorie B (druhy pozorované pouze před rokem 1950)
* Kategorie C (nepůvodní druhy, které vytvořily samostatně se rozmnožující populaci, včetně záletů jedinců z takových populací v zahraničí)
* Kategorie D (druhy u nichž existuje důvodná pochybnost o jejich přirozeném výskytu, ale přirozený výskyt není vyloučen)
* Kategorie E (druhy prakticky s jistotou pocházející ze zajetí) (cs)
- This is a list of the bird species recorded in the Czech Republic. The avifauna of the Czech Republic includes (as of December 2021) a total of 429 species, but this number may change as a major re-evaluation of both historical and contemporary records is currently underway. Of these 429 species, 8 have been introduced by humans. This list's taxonomic treatment (designation and sequence of orders, families and species) and nomenclature (common and scientific names) follow the conventions of The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World, 2022 edition. The family accounts at the beginning of each heading reflect this taxonomy, as do the species counts found in each family account. Introduced and accidental species are included in the total counts for the Czech Republic. The following tags have been used to highlight several categories. The commonly occurring native species do not fall into any of these categories.
* (A) Accidental - a species that rarely or accidentally occurs in the Czech Republic
* (I) Introduced - a species introduced to the Czech Republic as a consequence, direct or indirect, of human actions (en)
