- لاتيكوير 631 (بالإنجليزية: Latécoère 631) هي طائرة مائية ذات ست محركات أنتجت في فرنسا. من صناعة . كانت تستخدم بشكل أساسي من قبل الخطوط الجوية الفرنسية. كان أول طيران لها في 4 نوفمبر 1942. انتهت خدمتها في 1955. صنع منها 10 طائرة. وهي طائرة ركاب مائية مدنية، كانت أكبر طائرة على الإطلاق في ذلك الوقت. تم الاستيلاء على النموذج من قبل الألمان خلال فترة الاحتلال، وقصفت من قبل الحلفاء. تم سحبها من الخدمة في عام 1955 بعد خسارة 7 طائرات. Von dem für bis zu 70 Passagiere ausgelegten Typ entstanden während des Zweiten Weltkriegs ein Prototyp und nach Kriegsende zehn Serienmaschinen. Aufgrund mehrerer Abstürze und der Konkurrenz durch Landflugzeuge endete der Einsatz bereits nach wenigen Jahren. Bei ihrem Erscheinen war die Latécoère 631 das größte Flugboot der Welt. (de)

Un notable diseño de la preguerra comenzado en 1937, que sin embargo, entró en servicio en 1947. El Late 631 no fue un éxito, su operación era antieconomica y en aquellos años con la aparición de los grandes "liners" (Lockheed Constellation, Douglas DC-4 , etc) era inminente la desaparición de los grandes hidrocanoas de transporte de pasajeros. El primer ejemplar resultó destruido durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial y cuatro de los once aviones construidos se perdieron en accidentes. (es)
- The Latécoère 631 was a civil transatlantic flying boat built by Latécoère, the largest ever built up to its time. The type was not a success, being unreliable and uneconomic to operate. Five of the eleven aircraft built were written off in accidents and one was lost during World War II. (en)

Le prototype fut saisi par les Allemands pendant l'Occupation, et bombardé par les Alliés. Les derniers Latécoère 631 ont été retirés du service en 1955 après la perte de quatre appareils :
* no 7 (compagnie SNCAN) perdu en mer, dans la Manche au large du Havre.
* no 6 (compagnie Air France) perdu dans l'Atlantique-sud.
* no 3 (compagnie SEMAF), perdu au large du Cap Ferret.
* no 8 (compagnie France-Hydro), perdu au Cameroun. Symbole du transport aérien français au sortir de la guerre, avec le choix erroné de l’hydravion qui sera abandonné au profit des avions de ligne terrestres, appareil de gros tonnage et à grand rayon d'action, le Latécoère 631 n’aura réalisé qu’une courte carrière commerciale de 1945 à 1955. Malgré tout, les Laté 631 (4 appareils réellement exploités sur les 10 construits) auront à leur actif d’avoir pu réaliser pendant un an la plus longue liaison commerciale sans escale de leur époque, reliant Port-Étienne à Fort-de-France soit 4 700 km non-stop, battant au passage quelques records du monde, lors de la liaison reliant Bordeaux a la Martinique mit en place à partir du 25 juillet 1947.
