- Der Dapao-See (engl.: Lake Dapao) ist ein Binnensee auf der Insel Mindanao in den Philippinen. Der See liegt ca. 7 km südwestlich der Gemeinde Ganassi und des Lanao-Sees auf dem Gebiet der Gemeinde Pualas. Er umfasst eine Fläche von 10,11 km² und hat eine Tiefe von 120 Metern. Sein Abfluss mündet in den , der in Malabang in die Bucht von Illana fließt. Die Aquavegetation wird dominiert von der Alge Cladophora sp. und der Grundnessel (Hydrilla verticillata). Die Fischbestände bestehen hauptsächlich aus dem Schlangenkopffisch , dem Mosambik-Buntbarsch (Oreochromis mossambicus), der Grundel , dem Karpfen (Cyprinus carpio) und Raubwelsen (Clarias sp.). Diese Fischarten werden auch für den kommerziellen Fischfang genutzt. Der Dapao-See und das westlich gelegene Umland wurde 1965 zum Lake Dapao National Park erklärt, er umfasst ein Gebiet von 22,24 km². (de)

It is one of the deepest lakes in the country, reaching a maximum depth of 120 metres (390 ft). It has an estimated surface area of 1,011 hectares (10.11 km2). The lake receives water from local run-off and several small rivers. In 1965, the lake and its vicinity was declared as a protected national park under Republic Act 4190 that covers an area of about 1,500 square kilometres (580 sq mi). Plants growing in the lake includes hydrilla (Hydrilla spp) and the filamentous alga. The lake is also rich in fish that includes dalág, Mozambique tilapia (Oreochromis mossambicus), common carp (Cyprinus carpio), goby and catfish (Clarias spp). (en)
