- L’Enseignement mathématique ist eine Zeitschrift für Mathematik und Mathematikgeschichte. Sie wurde 1899 von Henri Fehr aus Genf (Herausgeber bis zu seinem Tod 1954, aus dieser Zeit mit der Universität Genf verbunden) und Charles-Ange Laisant (als Herausgeber 1930 durch Adolphe Bühl abgelöst) aus Paris gegründet und ist das offizielle Organ der International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI). Sie erscheint halbjährlich. In der Zeitschrift finden sich (heute) trotz des Namens weniger Artikel über Mathematikpädagogik als Übersichtsartikel zur Mathematik, mathematische Forschungsartikel und auch Beiträge zur Mathematikgeschichte. Seit dem Band 60 (2015) werden sie von der European Mathematical Society veröffentlicht. Beiträge, die älter als fünf Jahre sind, sind Online zugänglich. Die Artikel erscheinen auf Englisch oder Französisch. Die ISSN ist 2309-4672. (de)

Laisant 1920an hil zenean, Adolphe Buhl-ek ordezko editore kargua hartu zuen. Buhl 1949an hil zen eta Fehr 1954an hil zen — ordutik aldizkaria lotuta egon da—. Matematika Heziketako Nazioarteko Batzordearen (ICMI) aldizkari ofiziala da. - L’Enseignement mathématique is a journal for mathematics and mathematics education. It was founded in 1899 jointly by Henri Fehr from Geneva and by Charles-Ange Laisant from Paris as co-editors-in-chief. When Laisant died in 1920, Adolphe Buhl replaced him as co-editor-in-chief. Buhl died in 1949 and Fehr died in 1954 — since then the journal has been affiliated with the University of Geneva. It is the official organ of the International Commission on Mathematical Instruction (ICMI). Despite the journal's name, it publishes few articles on mathematics education, but instead articles on mathematical reviews, mathematical research, and contributions to the history of mathematics. Since volume 60 (2015) the articles have been published by the European Mathematical Society. Articles published more than five years ago are freely available online. The articles appear in English or French. Before World War II, the articles were in French. Volume 38 of the journal covers the years 1939–1942. In 1942 publication was suspended and resumed with volume 39 covering the years 1942–1950. (en)

Elle a été fondée en 1899 par Henri Fehr de Genève et par Charles-Ange Laisant de Paris comme coéditeurs en chef. À la mort de Laisant en 1920, c'est Adolphe Bühl qui le remplace. Bühl meurt en 1949, puis Fehr en 1954 ; depuis lors, le journal est géré par un comité de rédaction affilié à l'université de Genève. Il est l'organe officiel de la Commission internationale de l'enseignement mathématique (ICMI). Malgré son nom, la revue publie peu d'articles sur l'enseignement des mathématiques, mais plutôt des articles de synthèse mathématique, sur la recherche mathématique et des contributions à l'histoire des mathématiques. Depuis le volume 60 en 2015, les articles sont publiés par la Société mathématique européenne. Les articles publiés depuis plus de cinq ans sont disponibles en ligne. Les langues acceptées sont l’anglais et le français. Le volume 38 couvre les années 1939-1942. En 1942, la publication est suspendue et reprend avec le volume 39 qui couvre les années 1942-1950. La revue publie aussi des Monographies de l'Enseignement mathématique à intervalles irréguliers. (fr)
