- كاجا سيلفرمان (الإنجليزيّة: Kaja Silverman) (مواليد 16 سبتمبر/أيلول 1947) مؤرخة فنيّة ومنظّرة نقديّة أمريكيّة. هي حالياً أستاذة كاثرين وكيث إل. ساش لتاريخ الفن في جامعة بنسلفانيا. حصلت كاجا سيلفرمان على شهادة الدكتوراة في اللغة الإنجليزيّة من جامعة براون. بعد ذلك قامت بالتدريس في جامعة ييل وكليّة ترينيتي وجامعة سايمون فريزر وجامعتها الأم براون وجامعة روتشستر، كما شغلت لعدّة سنوات منصب أستاذة في قسم البلاغة في جامعة كاليفورنيا في بركلي. حازت أيضاً على زمالة غوغنهايم عام 2008، كما تحمل حالياً جائزة أندرو دبليو. ميلون للإنجاز المتميّز. - Kaja Silverman (16 de septiembre de 1947) es una teórica del cine estadounidense e historiadora de arte. Obtuvo su doctorado en Inglés de la Universidad de Brown. Enseñó en la Universidad de Yale, Trinity College, la Universidad Simon Fraser, la Universidad de Brown, la Universidad de Rochester y la Universidad de California en Berkeley, antes de incorporarse a la Universidad de Pensilvania Departamento de Historia del Arte en 2010. Se le concedió una beca Guggenheim Fellowship en 2008. Su escritura y enseñanza se centran en este momento sobre todo en la fenomenología, el psicoanálisis, la fotografía, y el tiempo basado en el arte visual, pero ella sigue escribiendo sobre cine e impartiendo cursos de cine, y tiene un creciente interés en la pintura. Actualmente está escribiendo un libro sobre la fotografía, llamada El milagro de la analogía, y su tiempo en el libro de decisiones, Flesh of My Flesh, fue publicado por Stanford University Press en el otoño de 2009. Sachs Professor of Art History at the University of Pennsylvania. She received B.A. and M.A. degrees in English from the University of California Santa Barbara and a Ph.D. in English from Brown University. Thereafter, she taught at Yale University, Trinity College, Simon Fraser University, Brown University, the University of Rochester and for many years was the Class of 1940 Professor in the Rhetoric Department at the University of California, Berkeley. She was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2008, and is currently the holder of an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Distinguished Achievement Award. (en)
