- Jonathan Levin (born November 17, 1972) is an American economist at Stanford University who succeeded Garth Saloner as the dean at Stanford Graduate School of Business on September 1, 2016. He also has an appointment as the Holbrook Working Professor of Price Theory in the Department of Economics at Stanford. He had been Chair of the Economics Department. He was awarded the 2011 John Bates Clark Medal. Since 2021, he has been a member of the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST). He is the son of former Yale University President Richard Levin. (en)

Levin est titulaire d'un BA en anglais et d'un B.S. en Mathématiques à l'université Stanford en 1994, puis d'un M.Phil. en Économie à l'université d'Oxford en 1996. Il devient docteur en économie en 1999, au Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Il devient professeur assistant au sein de la faculté d'économie à l'université Stanford en 2000, avant d'être promu professeur associé en 2005 et de professeur titulaire en 2008.
