James Iovine, (born March 11, 1950) is Chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M Records, whose artists include U2, Dr. Dre, Sheryl Crow, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Gwen Stefani, 50 Cent and The Black Eyed Peas. He is also a record producer who has worked with bands including U2, Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, Three Dog Night, Stevie Nicks, Dire Straits and Patti Smith. He is also credited with having discovered Eminem.
