- Jerónimo de Carrión y León (Segovia, c. 1660 – ibid., 1721) fue un compositor y maestro de capilla español del Barroco. Carrión nació en Segovia y cantó en el coro de niños de su Catedral. De 1687 a 1690 fue maestro de capilla en Mondoñedo y, tras un año en Orense, volvió a la catedral segoviana, ocupando el puesto del que había sido su maestro en Segovia, Miguel de Irízar, muerto en 1684; permaneció en este puesto de 1692 hasta su muerte en 1721. From 1687 to 1690 he was maestro de capilla in Mondoñedo and then, after a year at Ourense, at Segovia Cathedral, taking up the position formerly filled by Miguel de Irízar who had died in 1684; he remained in this post from 1692 to his death in 1721.
