- The January 2020 European Masters was a professional ranking snooker tournament that took place from 22 to 26 January 2020 in Dornbirn, Austria. Organised by the World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association (WPBSA), it was the ninth ranking event of the 2019–20 season, following the 2019 UK Championship, and preceding the 2020 German Masters. It was the twenty-first edition of the European Masters first held in 1989. The event was sponsored by betting company BetVictor. Qualifying took place from 17 to 19 December 2019 in Barnsley, England. Jimmy Robertson was the defending champion after defeating Joe Perry 9–6 in the 2018 final, but he lost 3–5 to Martin O'Donnell in the first qualifying round. Neil Robertson won the seventeenth ranking title of his career with a 9–0 whitewash win over Zhou Yuelong in the final. It was only the second whitewash in a two-session ranking event final, the first since the 1989 Grand Prix. A total of 27 century breaks were made during the tournament, with Thailand's Thepchaiya Un-Nooh making the highest, a 146 in the first round. (en)
- Das BetVictor European Masters 2020 war ein Snookerturnier der Main-Tour-Saison 2019/20, das vom 22. bis 26. Januar auf dem Messegelände von Dornbirn ausgetragen wurde. Erstmals war damit Österreich Austragungsort eines Weltranglistenturniers. Außerdem hatten die drei vorherigen Ausgaben des Turniers im Oktober stattgefunden, diesmal wurde es über den Jahreswechsel hinaus in den Januar verschoben. In der letzten Saison in Belgien hatte der Engländer Jimmy Robertson gewonnen. Dieses Mal scheiterte er jedoch schon in der Qualifikation. In einem einseitigen Finale setzte sich der Australier Neil Robertson mit 9:0 gegen den Chinesen Zhou Yuelong durch und gewann seinen 17. Titel bei einem Ranglistenturnier. Es war erst der zweite „whitewash“ (Zu-Null-Sieg) in einem Ranglistenfinale mit zwei Sessions nach dem Grand Prix 1989. Nimmt man noch das Masters 1988 und die International Open 1981 dazu, war es das vierte Zu-Null bei einem langen Finale eines Profiturniers und das erste, das nicht Steve Davis gewann. (de)
- Le Masters d'Europe 2020 est un tournoi de snooker classé comptant pour la saison 2019-2020. L'épreuve s'est tenue du 22 janvier 2020 au 26 janvier 2020 au Messe Dornbirn de Dornbirn, en Autriche. L'événement n'a pas été tenu lors de l'année calendaire 2019, puisqu'il a été décalé du mois d'octobre au mois de janvier. Le lieu a également changé puisque le tournoi a lieu en Autriche pour la première fois, après deux éditions à Lommel en Belgique. Il est organisé par la WPBSA et parrainé par la société anglaise de paris . L'événement compte un total de 128 participants aux qualifications et 32 dans le tableau final.
