- Jaime Heliodoro Rodríguez Calderón (Galeana, Nuevo León; 28 de diciembre de 1957), también conocido por su apodo El Bronco, es un político y mexicano. Fue gobernador de Nuevo León desde 2015 hasta 2021, con licencia del cargo de enero a julio de 2018 para participar como candidato independiente a la presidencia de México en las elecciones federales de 2018. Fue el primer gobernador postulado como candidato independiente en México. También fue diputado plurinominal del Congreso de la Unión en representación del Partido Revolucionario Institucional (PRI) en la LV legislatura de 1991 a 1994, diputado local del Congreso del Estado de Nuevo León por el décimo distrito de 1997 a 2000 y presidente municipal de García, Nuevo León, de 2009 a 2012. Desde el 15 de marzo de 2022 permanece detenido en una cárcel de Apodaca, Nuevo León por una denuncia relacionada al caso «broncofirmas». (es)

He served as the Governor of the northern state of Nuevo León from 2016 to 2017 and from 2018 to 2021. He is the first independent candidate to have won a governorship in Mexico. He served as mayor of García, Nuevo León (2009–2012) while a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), and was best known for his hard-line stance against organized crime. Rodríguez won the 2015 race for Governor as an independent candidate on June 7, 2015, winning half the votes of the election compared to his traditional party competitors, who split the remainder of the votes. He served as governor from 4 October 2015 until 31 December 2017, when he formally became candidate in the 2018 presidential race. He lost, only attaining 5% of the popular vote and resumed his term as governor. (en)
