- جابر جبران الفيفي (1975 في الطائف بالمملكة العربية السعودية)، وهو مواطن سعودي، تم احتجازه رهن الاعتقال خارج نطاق القضاء قبل الولايات المتحدة في معسكرات الاعتقال في خليج غواناتنامو في كوبا بسبب مزاعم بأنه تدرب وحارب مع تنظيم القاعدة وحركة طالبان في أفغانستان في عام 2001. وكان رقم الاعتقال التسلسلي الخاص به في معتقل غوانتانامو هو 188. تمت إعادة الفيفي إلى السعودية في ديسمبر 2006، وخضع لبرنامج إعادة التأهيل، بعد ذلك انضم إلى تنظيم القاعدة في اليمن وظل في اليمن لمدة عامين، حيث صعد ليصبح واحدًا من أكبر عشرة زعماء للقاعدة في جزيرة العرب. وفي سبتمبر 2010 استسلم للمملكة العربية السعودية، وفي 1 نوفمبر 2010 ورد أنه قدم معلومات ساعدت في إحباط تفجير طائرة الشحن عام 2010. - Jabir Jubran Al Fayfi (also Jabir Jubran Al Fayfi and Jaber Jabran Ali Al-Fayfee and Jaber Al-Fifi; born in 1975 in Ta'if, Saudi Arabia) is a citizen of Saudi Arabia who was held in extrajudicial detention in the United States Guantánamo Bay detention camp, in Cuba on allegations he trained and fought with al-Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan in 2001. Al Fayfi was repatriated to Saudi custody in December 2006, and completed a rehabilitation program. He then however joined al-Qaeda in Yemen and was in Yemen for two years, where he rose to become one of the top dozen leaders of al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula. In September 2010, he surrendered to Saudi Arabia, and on November 1, 2010, he was reported to have provided information that helped thwart the 2010 cargo plane bomb plot. (en)
