Patří mezi ně Kevin "Kb" Brewer, Joe "Punkee" Larot, Jeff "Phi" Nguyen, Rynan "Kid Rainen" Paguio, Gavin "gavin2raw/spideyofsac Pecson, Kris "Jujubeatz" Mangonon, a TJ "true justice" Lewis. Proslavili se především vítězstvím v MTV televizní soutěži , kde vyhráli 150 000 dolarů a nyní mají turné po Spojených státech amerických.[kdy?] Název skupiny je inspirován básní Jabberwocky (Lewis Carroll). - The Jabbawockeez is an American hip-hop dance crew that rose to prominence as the winner of the first season of America's Best Dance Crew in 2008. Established in 2003 in San Diego, California when dancers Kevin "KB" Brewer and Joe Larot put together an innovative dance crew. They participated in dance competitions with the idea of disrupting the existing dance scene. At the time they felt that dance crews were clones of one another; were dancing to the "top" of the music instead of digging deep into the music, and they set out to do something different. With Jabbawockeez, they showcased freestyle dance, were able to strike a balance between dancing to the music, and dancing as an artistic expression. By 2004, the Jabbawockeez's members included Phil "Swagger Boy" Tayag, Ben "B-Tek" Chung, Chris "Cristyle" Gatdula, Rynan "Kid Rainen" Paguio, and Jeff "Phi" Nguyen. Tony "Transformer" Tran joined the crew in 2013. The Jabbawockeez does not have a group leader; choreography for their performances, as well as music, design choices, is made as a collective unit. Ils sont souvent invités à des matchs de basket pour des prestations à la mi-temps (ex : lors des finales de NBA 2016, 2017, 2019, 2021, 2022) ; ils ont ainsi fait une entrée remarquée avec Shaquille O'Neal qui lui aussi avait le masque de Jabbawockeez. Les Jabbawockeez ont également fait une apparition dans le film Sexy Dance 2 , et réalisé des danses sur les clips "BOOM" de Tiësto, Gucci Mane et Sevenn mais aussi sur le clip de DaBaby, BOP in Broadway. Tancerze pojawili się w programie America's Got Talent, następnie wygrali pierwszą edycję programu otrzymując nagrodę w wysokości 100 000 $. Pojawili się również w filmie Step Up 2. Elementem charakterystycznym dla grupy są noszone przez jej członków maski, zasłaniające im twarze. Jest to ich znak rozpoznawczy, tylko raz wystąpili bez nich - podczas wykonywania tańca "pożegnalnego" po wygranej do remixu piosenki Kanye Westa - Stronger. W zależności od stroju, maski te posiadają różne kolory, jednak najczęściej tancerze korzystają z białych masek.
