- Ironside is an American police drama television series created by Collier Young, that aired on NBC from October 2 to October 23, 2013 during the 2013–14 television season. It was a remake of the original television series Ironside, which ran from 1967 to 1975. It starred Blair Underwood as the title character, wheelchair-using cop Robert Ironside, the only character re-created from the original series. The remade Ironside was grittier and considerably more violent than the original, and the setting was changed from San Francisco to New York City. Ratings and reviews were unfavorable to the series, and it was canceled on October 18. Only four episodes were aired. (en)

C'est un remake de la série L'Homme de fer (Ironside) créée par et diffusée de 1967 à 1975. En France, la série a été diffusée sur TF1 du 20 juin 2017 au 28 juin 2017. En Belgique, la série a été diffusée du 14 novembre 2014 au 12 décembre 2014 sur RTL-TVI Cependant elle reste inédite dans les autres pays francophones. (fr)

Narra le indagini del sergente della Polizia di New York City Robert Ironside (Blair Underwood), ridotto su una sedia a rotelle dopo che un proiettile lo ha reso paraplegico. Dopo la pubblicazione dell'episodio pilota su diversi siti internet, avvenuto il 10 settembre 2013, la serie debuttò il 2 ottobre sulla rete NBC, attraverso la quale furono trasmessi solamente quattro episodi prima della cancellazione. Il resto della stagione fu reso disponibile attraverso iTunes Store il 7 aprile 2014. In Italia è andato in onda su Premium Crime dal 1º maggio 2014 ed in chiaro su TOP Crime dal 12 marzo 2015. (it)
