- Centaurus, An International Journal of the History of Science and its Cultural Aspects, ist eine vierteljährlich erscheinende wissenschaftliche Zeitschrift, die sich hauptsächlich mit Mathematik-, Naturwissenschafts- und Technikgeschichte befasst. Trägerist die European Society for the History of Science. Centaurus erscheint seit 1950, jedoch mit wechselnden Untertiteln, und hieß früher International Magazine of the History of Science and Medicine sowie International Magazine of the History of Mathematics, Science and Technology. Centaurus wird derzeit bei Blackwell Publishing verlegt und von Hanne Andersen herausgegeben mit Sitz beim History of Science Department der Universität Aarhus, Dänemark. Die Zeitschrift wurde als Initiative von dänischen Mathematikhistorikern gegründet (und im ersten Band findet sich auch ein Aufsatz von einem dieser Mathematikhistoriker, Johannes Hjelmslev).
