- التقييم الدولي للعلوم والتقنيات الزراعية لتحقيق التنمية (International Assessment of Agricultural Knowledge, Science and Technology for Development - IAAKSTD) هو جهد تعاوني دولي لمدة ثلاث سنوات من 2005 إلى 2007، وقد بدأه البنك الدولي عام 2002. وقام برنامج التقييم الدولي للعلوم والتقنيات الزراعية بتقييم أهمية، وجودة، وفاعلية التقنيات الزراعية والعلوم والتكنولوجيا، وفاعلية سياسات القطاع الخاص والعام والترتيبات المؤسسية. ويضم هذا المشروع 900 مشارك و110 بلد برعاية مشتركة من منظمة الأغذية والزراعة والمرفق العالمي للبيئة وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي وبرنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة ومنظمة اليونسكو والبنك الدولي ومنظمة الصحة العالمية. وقد قيم هذا البرنامج المعرفة الزراعية والعلوم والتكنولوجيا فيما يتعلق بأهداف التنمية المستدامة التي تحد من الجوع والفقر، وتحسن من التغذية والصحة وسبل العيش في الريف، وتسهل الاستدامة البيئية والاجتماعية. استُعرضت نتائج المشروع واعتمادها خلال الاجتماع العام الحكومي الدولي الذي عقد في الفترة من 7 إلى 12 إبريل عام 2008 في جوهانسبرج بجنوب أفريقيا. - Der Weltagrarbericht (auch: Weltlandwirtschaftsbericht) mit dem Titel Agriculture at a Crossroads ("Landwirtschaft am Scheideweg") wurde 2008 vom Weltagrarrat (International Assessment of Agricultural Knowledge, Science and Technology for Development, IAASTD) veröffentlicht, einem Gremium vergleichbar dem "Weltklimarat" (IPCC). Der Bericht fordert insbesondere eine Ausdehnung der ökologischen Landwirtschaft beziehungsweise agrarökologischer Methoden und der Förderung von Kleinbauern. Die Grüne Gentechnik, Agrochemie und geistiges Eigentum von Saatgut werden kritisch hinterfragt. Deutschland, die USA, Kanada und Australien unterzeichneten den Bericht nicht. Anfangs beteiligte Agrarunternehmen beendeten ihre Mitarbeit schon vor dem Schlussbericht. (de)
- The International Assessment of Agricultural Knowledge, Science and Technology for Development (IAASTD) was a three-year international collaborative effort (2005–2007) initiated by the World Bank in 2002, which evaluated the relevance, quality and effectiveness of agricultural knowledge, science, and technology, and the effectiveness of public and private sector policies and institutional arrangements. The project involved 900 participants and 110 countries with co-sponsorship of the FAO, Global Environment Facility, UNDP, UNEP, UNESCO, the World Bank and WHO. It assessed agricultural knowledge, science, and technology with respect to development and sustainability goals of reducing hunger and poverty, improving nutrition, health, rural livelihoods, and facilitating social and environmental sustainability. The results of the project were reviewed and ratified during the intergovernmental plenary meeting held 7–12 April 2008, in Johannesburg, South Africa. (en)
