- تُوجد السويقة المخيخية السفلية في الجزء العلوي من المنطقة الخلفية للنخاع المستطيل، وهي ضفيرةٌ سميكةٌ تشبه الحبل، تقع بين الجزء السفلي للبطين الرابع وجذور العصب البلعومي اللساني والعصب المبهم. تعمل السويقة المخيخية السفلية على ربط الحبل الشوكي والنخاع المستطيل بالمخيخ، وتتضمن والجسم منقاري الشكل. توجدُ أليافٌ مهمة تمرٌ عبر السويقة المخيخية السفلية وتتضمن السبيل النخاعي المخيخي الظهراني والمحاور من وغيرها. - The upper part of the posterior district of the medulla oblongata is occupied by the inferior cerebellar peduncle, a thick rope-like strand situated between the lower part of the fourth ventricle and the roots of the glossopharyngeal and vagus nerves. Each cerebellar inferior peduncle connects the spinal cord and medulla oblongata with the cerebellum, and comprises the juxtarestiform body and restiform body. Important fibers running through the inferior cerebellar peduncle include the dorsal spinocerebellar tract and axons from the inferior olivary nucleus, among others. (en)
- Le pédoncule cérébelleux inférieur désigne la connexion entre le cervelet et l'olive bulbaire ainsi que de la moelle épinière, des noyaux spinales et myélencéphaliques. Les faisceaux neuronaux émergent postérieurement et latéralement du bulbe rachidien, en dessus des ébauches des nerfs craniens VII à XI. Il s'agit de fibres grimpantes, issues de l'olive inférieure, et de fibres moussues, prenant leur origine dans la moelle épinière, des noyaux spinales et myélencéphaliques. Les fibres grimpantes sont des axones faisant directement synapse avec les cellules de Purkinje, des interneurones GABA-ergiques ou les noyaux profonds du cervelet.
