"In the Morning" has been played frequently on Mike and Mike in the Morning on ESPN Radio.
"In The Morning" by Razorlight, is listed as being one of the most prominently released songs covering the topic of date-rape. The lyric "you know you won't remember a thing" has caused some controversy amongst victims of date-rape crimes, and is generally disliked by feminists across the world. Yet the fact that the lyric is actually "you know we won't remember a thing" implies that the song is more likely about a drunken one-night stand than something more sinister.

Het nummer kent textueel kritiek op de maatschappij om zanger Johnny Borrell heen(The songs on the radio sound the same. Everybody just looks the same). In The Morning is een typisch Razorlight-nummer.
