- In multiplicibus curis ist eine weitere Friedensenzyklika von Papst Pius XII., die am 24. Oktober 1948 erschien und mit der er zum Gebet für den Frieden in Palästina aufrief. Er erinnert auch an seine Enzyklika Auspicia quaedam, in der er zum öffentlichen Gebet für den Weltfrieden und zur Lösung des Palästinaproblems aufgerufen habe. Pius XII. beklagte die Angriffe und die Zerstörungen der heiligen Stätten und forderte die freie Ausübung des religiösen Bekenntnisses. Er wandte sich auch an die Gläubigen in anderen Nahoststaaten, die diplomatischen Vertreter des Heiligen Stuhls in Palästina, des Libanons und Ägyptens und appellierte an sie, sich an der Friedenssuche zu beteiligen. Der Papst ging in seinem Rundschreiben auch auf den Status Jerusalems ein und forderte, dass durch internationale Garantien der freie Zugang zu den Heiligen Orten gesichert werde. Dazu gehöre aber auch, so der Papst, die Kultusfreiheit und der Respekt vor der freien Religionsausübung nach den jeweiligen religiösen Riten. (de)
- In multiplicibus curis was an encyclical given by Pope Pius XII on 24 October 1948 at Castel Gandolfo, near Rome, in the tenth year of his pontificate. The encyclical repeated the Vatican's prior attitude to its concerns in the Holy Land and came at a time when the 1948 Arab–Israeli War was still raging, but after Israel went on the offensive in Operation Yoav. In the encyclical, Pope Pius expressed concern at what he called "the destruction and damage of sacred buildings and charitable places built around the Holy Places" scattered throughout Palestine especially in Jerusalem. While "condemning any recourse to violence", the Pope stated that "peace could only be realized in truth and justice; that is to say by respecting the rights of acquired traditions." The Pope sought to maintain the Holy See's official attitude of impartiality in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict but also looked for possibilities for justice and peace in Palestine and for the respect and protection of the Holy Places. The Pope also expressed concern for the plight of "the unhappy victims of the war" (which was understood to refer especially to Palestinian refugees). The Pope repeated his call for Jerusalem and its outskirts be given an international character, which would "offer a better guarantee for the protection of the sanctuaries". He also called for international guarantees of "free access to Holy Places scattered throughout Palestine, and the freedom of worship and the respect of customs and religious traditions". (en)

- In Multiplicibus Curis (Latijn voor Onder de vele zorgen) is een - korte - encycliek die paus Pius XII uitvaardigde op 24 oktober 1948 waarin hij een hernieuwde (eerder dat jaar had hij iets soortgelijks gedaan met de encycliek Auspicia Quaedam) oproep deed te bidden voor vrede in Palestina. De paus begint de encycliek met te zeggen dat het Heilig Land, de plaats waar Jezus, door het offer van zijn bloed verlossing en heil gebracht heeft, vandaag de dag nog steeds een plaats is van bloedvergieten. Niet alleen is er daardoor veel menselijk leed, ook veel Heilige plaatsen worden door het aanhoudende geweld bedreigd. De paus verwijst naar een ontmoeting die hij had met Arabische leiders, toen hij ook hen heeft opgeroepen de vrede na te streven en geweld te veroordelen. De paus maakt gewag van de diplomatieke inspanningen die de Heilige Stoel heeft geleverd om de conflicten tot een einde te brengen. De paus doet daarom een hernieuwde oproep tot gebed. Wij geloven niet dat de Christenheid onverschillig kan reageren (...) bij de aanblik van het Heilig Land, dat met voeten getreden wordt door legers, en geraakt wordt door luchtbombardementen. Wij geloven niet dat zij zou toestaan dat de Heilige plaatsen worden vernietigd. Daarnaast doet de paus het voorstel om Jeruzalem en alle Heilige plaatsen onder internationaal protectoraat te plaatsen, opdat deze plaatsen behouden blijven. (nl)
