L'aeronau de concepte va enlairar-se per primera vegada l'any 2008, i, el desembre 2012, es va finalitzar l'utillatge de producció. The aircraft is known for having brought significant excitement and publicity to the LSA industry since its unveiling in 2008, although company legal and financial issues have slowed production over the last six years.
