- Hybrid Tango is a side project by the members of Buenos Aires-based electronic neo-tango band Tanghetto. Also named Hybrid Tango Project. Released in December 2004, Hybrid Tango contains twelve instrumental tracks in which, apart from the blend of electronic music and tango that is the distinctive sound of Tanghetto, there are plenty of world-music styles such as flamenco, candombe, and jazz. Acoustic sounds (bandoneón, piano, guitar, cello, and even the Chinese stringed instrument, the erhu) are more predominant than in Tanghetto's debut album Emigrante (Electrotango). The album was produced and mixed by Max Masri. The album was nominated for a Latin Grammy Award in 2005 and reached gold status in Argentina. (en)

Lanzado en diciembre de 2004, Hybrid Tango contiene doce pistas instrumentales en las cuales, además de mezclar música electrónica y tango, realiza una fusión con varios estilos musicales alternativos como flamenco, candombe y jazz. Los sonidos acústicos del bandoneón, el piano, la guitarra, el violonchelo y el erhu un instrumento a cuerdas chino son más predominantes en este álbum que en su álbum debut, Emigrante (electrotango). El álbum fue producido por Max Masri y coproducido por Diego S. Velázquez. El álbum fue nominado para un Grammy Latino en 2005 y alcanzó el disco de oro en Argentina. (es)
