- The He-Man and the Masters of the Universe franchise debuted in 1982 with the creation of American company Mattel and the toyline of the same name. This is a list of characters that appear in the toyline, television series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, The New Adventures of He-Man, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2002), Masters of the Universe: Revelation and He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (2021) and the films The Secret of the Sword, He-Man & She-Ra: A Christmas Special, and Masters of the Universe. - Pour le dessin animé Les Maîtres de l'univers, Filmation a développé un univers extrêmement riche et cohérent qui dépassait le cadre de la gamme de jouets de Mattel. Le soin apporté par les producteurs Lou Scheimer et Hal Sutherland ainsi que les nombreux scénaristes sont pour beaucoup dans le succès de la série. Un autre dessin animé a vu le jour en 2002 par le studio Mike Young Production (MYP). Nous pouvons y retrouver la plupart des personnages principaux mais leur aspect graphique a été modernisé.
