- الترجمات الحاخامية لإنجيل متى هي نسخ حاخامية لإنجيل متى كُتبت بالعبرية، واستخدمت في المناظرات الجدالية مع الكاثوليك. هذه النسخ تختلف عن إنجيل العبرانيين التي كانت عملاً أو أكثر من الأعمال التي تواجدت في عصر المسيحية المبكرة، ولم يبق منها شيء سوى أجزاء مقتبسة من نصوص يونانية ولاتينية. يعتقد بعض الباحثين أن كل الترجمات الحاخامية اعتمدت على ترجمة إنجيل متى من اليونانية أو اللاتينية من أجل الدفاع عن اليهودية. بينما أثبت بعض الباحثين بأدلة لغوية وتاريخية أن تلك النسخ نُسخت من نصوص عبرية قديمة تمت ترجمتها بعد ذلك إلى اليونانية وغيرها من اللغات. كتب المؤلف المسيحي القديم بابايس حوالي سنة 100 م أن متى كتب إنجيله بلهجة عبرية، لذا فالكل تمكّن من ترجمتها كما فعل هو. - Las traducciones rabínicas del Evangelio según Mateo son versiones rabínicas del Evangelio según Mateo que están escritas en hebreo; El Evangelio de Mateo en hebreo de Shem Tob, Mateo de Du Tillet, Mateo de Münster, y cualquiera traducción que se haya utilizado en un debate polémico con los católicos. Estas versiones deben distinguirse del Evangelio de los Hebreos, que fue una o más obras encontradas en la Iglesia primitiva, pero que sobrevivió solo como citas fragmentarias en textos griegos y latinos. - The rabbinical translations of Matthew are rabbinical versions of the Gospel of Matthew that are written in Hebrew; Shem Tob's Hebrew Gospel of Matthew, the Du Tillet Matthew, and the Münster Matthew, and which were used in polemical debate with Catholics. These versions are to be distinguished from the Gospel of the Hebrews which was one or more works found in the Early Church, but surviving only as fragmentary quotations in Greek and Latin texts. Some scholars consider all the rabbinical versions to be translated from the Greek or Latin of the canonical Matthew, for the purpose of Jewish apologetics. This conclusion is not unanimous. Other scholars have provided linguistic and historic evidence of Shem Tov's Matthew coming from a much earlier Hebrew text that was later translated into Greek and other languages. Early Christian author Papias wrote around the year 100 that, "Matthew composed his history in the Hebrew language, and everyone translated it as he was able". (en)
