- La Calle Harlem–Calle 148, o antiguamente llamada como la terminal de la Calle 148, es una estación en la línea de la Avenida Lenox del metro de la ciudad de Nueva York. Localizada en la intersección de la Calle 149 y la Séptima Avenida en Harlem, es servida todo el tiempo por los trenes del servicio 3. Esta es la terminal del extremo norte de la línea de la Avenida Lenox y el servicio3. Al lado de la estación se encuentra el , en la cual es usado para el almacenamiento de trenes sin servicio mantenimiento. El patio fue construido antes que la estación fuese construida, construida en 1968 a un costo muy bajo, ya que el patio y las vías ya estaban ahí. - The Harlem–148th Street station (also signed as 148th Street–Lenox Terminal station) is a New York City Subway station on the IRT Lenox Avenue Line in Harlem, Manhattan. It serves as the northern terminal station of the 3 train at all times as well as the Northern terminal of the IRT Lenox Avenue line. The entrance to the station is located at the intersection of 149th Street and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard, which has historically been known as 7th Avenue. The station contains a pair of tracks and an island platform and is located at ground level (although at a lower elevation than the adjacent streets). A parking structure for the adjacent Frederick Douglass Academy is located above the station, forming a roof above the platform and tracks. Although the Lenox Avenue Line was constructed in 1904, the Harlem–148th Street station was not part of the original line. The station was first proposed in 1940, and was opened in 1968 within the confines of the preexisting Lenox Yard. The station was intended to replace 145th Street, the next stop south, as the northern terminal of the Lenox Avenue Line. However, the 145th Street station remained open as a result of community opposition. (en)

Станция была открыта 13 мая 1968 года на территории депо «Ленокс», которое с 1904 года обслуживало первую подземную линию. Она была построена как замена для бывшей конечной станции 145-я улица, поскольку в те времена была увеличена длина составов и все станции подвергались продлению платформ, а на станции 145-я улица это было невозможно из-за наличия стрелок с обеих сторон от неё. Когда станцию открыли, станция 145-я улица должна была быть закрыта, однако после протестов местных жителей она была сохранена, и на сегодня расстояние между двумя станциями составляет всего четыре квартала. С 1995 по 2005 год участок линии от конечной Гарлем — 148-я улица и до 135-й улицы был одним из немногих участков Нью-Йоркского метро, которые не работают по ночам.
