- Avengers: The Initiative is a comic book series from Marvel Comics. Written by Dan Slott and Christos Gage with artwork initially by Stefano Caselli, Steve Uy and Harvey Tolibao, the series deals with the aftermath of Marvel's "Civil War" storyline (however, it should not be confused with "The Initiative" a banner running across Marvel books from Feb. 2007 to May 2007, similar to Marvel's earlier "Decimation" banner after the "House of M" storyline, or the Civil War: The Initiative special by Brian Michael Bendis). - L’Initiative (« The Initiative » en VO) est le nom d'un programme fictif du gouvernement fédéral des États-Unis appartenant à l'univers Marvel de la maison d'édition Marvel Comics. L'organisation apparaît pour la première fois dans le comic book Avengers: The Initiative #1 en avril 2007 jusqu’à Avengers: The Initiative #35 en juillet 2010. En 2007, à la suite du crossover Civil War, le gouvernement fédéral des États-Unis, épaulé par l'équipe des Mighty Avengers et d'Iron Man lance le « projet Initiative » qui prévoit que chaque État américain soit protégé par une équipe de super-héros ayant signé le « Registration Act », c'est-à-dire formés et officiellement reconnus par le gouvernement des États-Unis. Les équipes sont associées à l'organisation le SHIELD. (fr)
- L'Iniziativa dei 50 Stati, spesso definita semplicemente come L'Iniziativa, è un immaginario progetto governativo che appare nei fumetti pubblicati dalla Marvel Comics immediatamente dopo la conclusione di Civil War, in particolare quelli relativi ai Vendicatori. Il suo scopo è quello di dotare ognuno degli Stati Uniti di un suo gruppo di supereroi registrati. L'Iniziativa è parte di un più ampio progetto di Mister Fantastic, Iron Man e Hank Pym per rendere le attività superumane il più sicuro possibile dopo la tragedia di Stamford (ci sono 101 punti che vorrebbero realizzare e, di questi l'Iniziativa è il n. 41). I superumani registrati vengono inviati a Camp Hammond per l'addestramento prima di essere assegnati ad uno dei team del progetto. (it)
