- Hagryphus war ein theropoder Dinosaurier aus der Gruppe der Oviraptorosauria aus der Oberkreide Nordamerikas, der lediglich durch eine linke Hand sowie fragmentarische Arm- und Fußknochen bekannt ist. Diese Gattung wurde im Jahr 2005 von Zanno und Sampson mit der bisher einzigen Art Hagryphus giganteus erstbeschrieben. Innerhalb der Oviraptorosauria wird Hagryphus zu den Caenagnathidae gezählt. Hagryphus gehörte mit einer geschätzten Länge von 3 Metern zu den größten Oviraptorosauria und war 30 bis 40 % größer als Chirostenotes. Von den verwandten Gattungen Elmisaurus und Chirostenotes lässt sich Hagryphus durch Merkmale an den gefundenen Handknochen abgrenzen; so sind der erste und zweite Finger robuster, während der erste Mittelhandknochen sowie das Fingerglied I-1 proportional kürzer war. The type and only species, Hagryphus giganteus, is known only from an incomplete but articulated left manus and the distal portion of the left radius. It was named in 2005 by Lindsay E. Zanno and Scott D. Sampson. Hagryphus has an estimated length of 2.4–3 metres (8–10 feet) and weight of 50 kilograms (110 lbs). (en)
