She formed part of the Harwich Force in the early years of the war, taking part in the Battle of Heligoland Bight in 1914, the Battle of Dogger Bank in 1915 and the Battle of Jutland in 1916. Later in the war she joined the First Destroyer Flotilla based at Portsmouth where she served as a convoy escort. She survived the war, and was sold for scrap in 1921. (en)
