- Générations Star Wars et Science Fiction (English: Star Wars and science fiction generations), also called Gen SW, is a French fan convention whose main subject is the Star Wars universe. Other topics are the comics, the science fiction and the fantasy. It is held once a year in Cusset, Allier since 1999. Among its most notable guests are the major Star Wars actors Anthony Daniels (C-3PO), Peter Mayhew (Chewbacca), Jake Lloyd (Anakin Skywalker) and David Prowse (Darth Vader) or renowned comics artists like Tom Palmer and Davide Fabbri. Organizing this event is the main activity of the non-profit association Les Héritiers de la Force (English: The Heirs of the Force) which is not associated to nor endorsed by Lucasfilm Ltd. There is no entry fee for the visitors attending the convention. (en)

Elle est organisée une fois par an à Cusset dans l'Allier depuis 1999. L'entrée du salon est gratuite pour le public depuis la première édition. Parmi ses invités les plus connus, on peut noter les acteurs Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Jake Lloyd et David Prowse, interprètes respectifs des personnages majeurs de la saga Star Wars que sont C-3PO, Chewbacca, Anakin Skywalker enfant et Dark Vador. Des auteurs de comics d'envergure internationale ainsi que plusieurs auteurs de livres spécialisés sur Star Wars ont également été présents lors de certaines éditions. Soutenu par la ville de Cusset et le Conseil départemental de l'Allier, cet événement est organisé par l'association de fans Les Héritiers de la Force, dont c'est l'activité principale. Cette association n'étant pas affiliée à Lucasfilm Limited, la manifestation n'a pas de relation officielle avec la licence Star Wars. (fr)
