- غلف تايمز (بالإنجليزية: Gulf Times), صحيفة قطرية يومية إنجليزية سياسية جامعة تصدر عن . تأسست صحيفة غلف تايمز في عام 1978 كأول إصدار لشركة الخليج للنشر والطباعة في العاصمة القطرية الدوحة (أو الدوحة). وهي واحدة من ثلاث صحف باللغة الإنجليزية في الدولة (والصحف الأخرى هي بينينسولا [1995] و قطر تريبيون [2006]). نشره عبد الله بن حمد العطية نائب رئيس الوزراء السابق والرئيس السابق لديوان الأمير. والرئيس الحالي لصحيفة جلف تايمز هو عبد الله بن خليفة العطية، بينما رئيس التحرير فيصل عبد الحميد المضاحكة جعل المحرر المسؤول كي تي تشاكو. - Die Gulf Times ist neben der Qatar Tribune und eine der drei englischsprachigen Tageszeitungen in Katar. Die Zeitung wurde am 1. Juni 1978 von der Gulf Publishing & Printing Company in Doha gegründet. Zwei Monate später genehmigte das Informationsministerium den Antrag auf eine Zeitung und löste die Lizenz ein. Die Redaktion begann mit zwölf Mitarbeitern. Die erste Ausgabe der Zeitung wurde am 10. Dezember 1978 veröffentlicht und erschien damals noch als Wochenzeitung. Seit dem 21. Februar 1981 erscheint die Zeitung täglich. Während der 1980er-Jahre waren bereits rund 300 Mitarbeiter beim Unternehmen beschäftigt. 1995 wurde die Gulf Times von einer Tabloid- zum Broadsheet-Format umgewandelt und der Umfang des Inhalts wurde deutlich erhöht. - The Gulf Times newspaper was founded in 1978 as the first publication of the Gulf Publishing and Printing Company in the capital city of Qatar, Doha (or ad-Dawhah). It is one of three English language newspapers in the country (the others being The Peninsula [1995] and the Qatar Tribune [2006]). It is published by Abdullah bin Hamad Al Attiyah, the former deputy prime minister and the former head of the Emir's court. The current chairman of Gulf Times is Abdullah bin Khalifa al-Attiya, while the editor-in-chief is Faisal Abdulhameed al-Mudahka making the editor in charge K T Chacko. (en)
