- Grady is an American sitcom and a spin-off of Sanford and Son that aired on NBC from December 4, 1975 to March 11, 1976. Whitman Mayo reprises his role as Fred Sanford's widower friend Grady, who leaves Watts to move in with his daughter and her family in Westwood. Executive producer Norman Lear served as a consultant to the show. The series never found a solid audience, and was canceled after just ten episodes. Whitman Mayo returned to Sanford and Son and would go on to star in the spinoff series Sanford Arms. (en)
- Grady è una sitcom statunitense trasmessa dalla NBC a cavallo tra il 1975 e il 1976, con inizio in dicembre. Per essere precisi, la serie fu un semplice spin-off di un'altra produzione, Sanford and son. Il protagonista, Grady Wilson, interpretato da Whitman Mayo, è infatti il ben noto amico di Fred e Lamont, che qui si è trasferito a Westwood, in Virginia, con i suoi familiari. Nella seconda puntata appare anche Fred, impersonato come sempre da Redd Foxx. Nonostante il divertente protagonista, la serie non perpetuò il successo del telefilm di origine, e sopravvisse solo 3 mesi con 10 puntate, chiudendo i battenti l'11 marzo 1976. In Italia il telefilm è a tutt'oggi inedito. (it)
