- Gordonia traquairi és una espècie extinta de sinàpsid del grup dels dicinodonts. Es tracta de l'únic representant conegut del gènere Gordonia. Se n'han trobat restes fòssils al Regne Unit. L'autor d'aquest tàxon, , en descrigué diverses espècies basant-se en material trobat prop d'Elgin (Escòcia), però avui en dia només se'n reconeix una. El nom genèric, Gordonia, fou elegit en honor del reverend George Gordon, mentre que el nom específic, traquairi, fou elegit en honor del paleontòleg escocès . (ca)
- Gordonia is an extinct genus of dicynodont therapsid from the Late Permian of Scotland. Fossils have been found from the Elgin sandstone of in Elgin, Moray. These are among the many amniote fossils referred to as the Elgin Reptiles. Gordonia was named in 1893 with four species: G. traquairi, G. duffiana, G. huxleyana, and G. juddiana. Currently, the only recognized species is the type G. traquairi. All other species are considered synonyms of the type. (en)
