Einer breiteren Öffentlichkeit wurde Grace erstmals 1994 bekannt, als sie als 16-jährige mit einer Coverversion von Whitney Houston den Talentwettbewerb Soundmixhow gewann. Trotz dieses Erfolges gelang ihr aber zunächst nicht der Durchbruch als Sängerin.
Erst 2005 gelang ihr ein Comeback, als sie mit dem Titel My Impossible Dream das Nationaal Songfestival der Niederlande gewann und sich damit für den Eurovision Song Contest in Kiew qualifizierte. Hier kam sie allerdings über das Semifinale nicht hinaus.
Seit 2007 veröffentlicht sie Singles in holländischer Sprache, die auch international in Online-Shops verfügbar sind. (de)
