- في صباح يوم 18 نوفمبر 2014، دخل فلسطينيان من القدس كنيس كهيلت بني توراه، في حي هار نوف في القدس، وهاجما الموجودين بالأسلحة البيضاء ومسدس. قتل أربعة مصلين مزدوجي الجنسية، وأصابوا ضابط شرطة إسرائيلي درزي مستجيب بجروح خطيرة، توفي فيما بعد متأثرا بجراحه. كما أصابوا سبعة من المصلين الذكور، لم يستيقظ أحدهم من غيبوبة وتوفي بعد 11 شهرا. ثم قتلت الشرطة المهاجمين بالرصاص. وزعمت تقارير أولية عديدة أن الجبهة الشعبية لتحرير فلسطين أعلنت مسؤوليتها عن الهجوم؛ وتقول مصادر أخرى ان تصريحات مقاتلي الجبهة الشعبية كانت إما مشوشة أو ان الجماعة نفسها تنصلت من مسؤوليتها. وذكرت السلطات الإسرائيلية أنه «يبدو أن الرجلين تصرفا لوحدهما». وكان هذا أكبر هجوم في القدس منذ هجوم ميركاز هراف في مارس 2008. الهجوم كان واحدا من عدد من الهجمات على الإسرائيليين في صيف وخريف 2014 التي يطلق عليها من قبل بعض مصادر الأخبار الانتفاضة الصامتة. أدان مجلس الأمن الدولي الهجوم. - On the morning of 18 November 2014, two Palestinian men from Jerusalem entered Kehilat Bnei Torah synagogue, in the Har Nof neighborhood of Jerusalem, and attacked the praying congregants with axes, knives, and a gun. They killed four dual-nationality worshippers, and critically wounded a responding Druze Israeli police officer, who later died of his wounds. They also injured seven male worshippers, one of whom never woke up from a coma and died 11 months later. The two attackers were then shot dead by the police. Several initial reports claimed that the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) had declared responsibility for the attack; Other sources say declarations by PFLP militants were either confused or that the group itself disclaimed responsibility. Israeli authorities stated that 'it seemed the men had acted alone'. It was the deadliest terror attack in Jerusalem since the Mercaz HaRav massacre in March 2008. The attack was one of a number of violent attacks on Israelis in the summer and autumn of 2014 being called an intifada by some news sources, despite no official intifada being organized by a Palestinian group, as they were in the first and second intifadas. The UN Security Council condemned the "despicable terrorist attack" in the Jerusalem synagogue. (en)

Uccisero 4 fedeli di doppia nazionalità e ferirono gravemente un agente di polizia druso israeliano che reagì e che in seguito morì per le ferite riportate. Ferirono anche 7 credenti maschi, uno dei quali non si svegliò mai dal coma e morì 11 mesi dopo. I 2 aggressori furono poi uccisi dalla polizia. Diversi rapporti iniziali affermavano che i comunisti del Fronte Popolare per la Liberazione della Palestina (FPLP) avesse dichiarato la sua responsabilità per l'attacco, altre fonti affermavano che le dichiarazioni dei militanti del FPLP fossero confuse o che il gruppo stesso avesse negato la responsabilità.
