George Nugent-Grenville was: Liberal Member of Parliament for Buckingham, 1810–1812; for Aylesbury, 1812–1832. A Lord of the Treasury, 1830–1832. Lord High Commissioner of the Ionian Islands, 1832–1835. Unsuccessful candidate for Aylesbury, 1837 and 1839; for Southampton, 9 August 1842.
