George Ernest Kalmus, CBE, FRS (born 21 April 1935) is a British particle physicist. Kalmus was educated at St Albans County Grammar School and University College, London. He was Associate Director, 1986–94 and Director, 1994–97 of Particle Physics at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. He was Visiting Professor, Physics and Astronomy Department, 1984–2000, University College, London and has been a Fellow there since 1998.
