George Benson (3 May 1889 – 17 August 1973) was a British Labour Party politician who served as Member of Parliament for Chesterfield from 1929 to 1931, and from 1935 to 1964. Benson was educated at Manchester Grammar School, Manchester and became an estate agent. He was an author on financial matters and of a book on the history of socialism.
