- Το Γκιόζ Τεπέ ή Γκιόζτεπε είναι παραλιακό προάστιο της Σμύρνης που βρίσκεται νοτιότερα της πόλης. Στο πρώτο ήμισυ του 19ου αιώνα ο Σμυρναίος λόγιος Ικέσιος Λάτρης προσπάθησε να καθιερώσει το εξελληνισμένο όνομα Ενόπη, αντί του τουρκικού το οποίο και χρησιμοποιήθηκε ευρύτατα από τη Σμυρναϊκή ελληνική δημοσιογραφία καθώς και σε επίσημα κοινοτικά έγγραφα, αν και ο λαός εξακολούθησε να χρησιμοποιεί την τουρκική ονομασία. Πριν την ανταλλαγή πληθυσμών η Ενόπη κατοικούνταν αποκλειστικά από ελληνογενές στοιχείο. (el)
- Göztepe is a neighborhood of İzmir, situated on the southern shore of the Gulf of İzmir, administratively within the boundaries of the metropolitan district of Konak. The neighborhood is also one of the eight quays of İzmir's urban ferry services operated by İzdeniz. It is notable for its football club Göztepe S.K. In Ottoman times, the alternative Greek name for Göztepe was "Enopi" and the area was a rich suburb inhabited principally by richer Greeks of İzmir. (en)
