- Der Fresh Pond Parkway ist ein historischer Park und zugleich Parkway im westlichen Teil der Stadt Cambridge im Bundesstaat Massachusetts der Vereinigten Staaten. Er wurde 1899 vom Landschaftsarchitekten Charles Eliot und den Olmsted Brothers errichtet und im Jahr 2005 in das National Register of Historic Places aufgenommen. Die Straße wird vom Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation verwaltet und ist Teil des Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston. Der Fresh Pond Parkway ist in jeder Fahrtrichtung zweispurig und erstreckt sich von der Mount Auburn Street im Süden bis zu seinem nördlichen Ende am Kreisverkehr an der Concord Avenue und dem Alewife Brook Parkway. Der größte Teil der Strecke bildet dabei die östliche Grenze des als bekannten Gebiets und dient darüber hinaus als Verbindungsstraße zum Schutzgebiet Charles River Reservation. Über die volle Länge des Parkways verlaufen die Massachusetts Route 2 und der U.S. Highway 3. Der Teil nördlich der Huron Avenue ist zusätzlich als ausgewiesen. (de)
- Fresh Pond Parkway is a historic park and parkway on the western end of Cambridge, Massachusetts, part of the Metropolitan Park System of Greater Boston. The parkway was built in 1899 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005. Fresh Pond Parkway is a four-lane road (two lanes in each direction) stretching from Mount Auburn Street on its southern end to a rotary at Concord Avenue (formerly Cambridge and Concord Turnpike) and Alewife Brook Parkway to the north. Much of the parkway acts as eastern boundary for portions of the city's municipal Fresh Pond reservoir area and connects the reservoir to the Charles River Reservation. The parkway is part of Massachusetts Route 2 (Route 2) and U.S. Route 3 (US 3) for its entire length. The portion north of Huron Avenue is also part of Route 16. (en)
