Francis Charles Granville Egerton, 3rd Earl of Ellesmere VD (5 April 1847 – 13 July 1914) was a British peer and racehorse owner. The son of the 2nd Earl of Ellesmere and Lady Mary Louisa Campbell, he succeeded to his father's titles in 1862. In 1891, he became Honorary Colonel of the 7th Battalion, The Manchester Regiment and in 1896, of the Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry, in which he had served as a junior officer. Egerton has received the Volunteer Decoration (VD).
