- إصبع الرب هي عبارة مستخدمة في الكتاب المقدس. استخدمها سفر الخروج لأول مرة في حديثه عن ضربات مصر. وفي سفر الخروج 31:18 وسفر التثنية 9:10 يشير إلى الطريقة التي كتبت بها الوصايا العشر على ألواح موسى على جبل سيناء التوراتي، يصف سفر الخروج الوصايا العشر على أنها كلام الرب، نقشت على لوحين حجريين بإصبع الرب، كسرها موسى بعدما وجد بني إسرائيل يعبدون العجل الذهبي، وأعاد الرب كتابتها على أحجار بديلة. ذَكر مصطلح «إصبع الرب» مرة أخيرة على لسان يسوع في إنجيل لوقا لوصف كيفية تمكنه من طرد الشياطين. - The "finger of God" (Hebrew: אצבע אלהים ’etsba‘ ’Ĕlōhîm) is a phrase used in the Bible. In Exodus 8:16–20 it is used during the plagues of Egypt by the Egyptian magicians. In Exodus 31:18 and Deuteronomy 9:10 it refers to the method by which the Ten Commandments were written on tablets of stone that were brought down from Mount Sinai by Moses. It was also used once by Jesus in the Gospel of Luke to describe how he had cast out demons. (en)
