- Final Straw: Food, Earth, Happiness (català: L'últim bri: Menjar, Terra, Felicitat) és una pel·lícula documental / art estrenada el juny de 2015 que porta al públic a través de granges i paisatges urbans del Japó, Corea del Sud i els Estats Units, entrevistant principals professionals del moviment de l'Agricultura natural. La pel·lícula va començar quan un artista ecologista (Patrick M. Lydon) i un editor de llibres ambientals (Suhee Kang), van tenir una trobada d'oportunitats a Seül, Corea del Sud i van començar a realitzar breus entrevistes juntament amb líders dels moviments ecològics i de justícia social. En trobar-se amb el granger coreà Seong Hyun Choi, els dos estaven tan impressionats per la seua mentalitat ecològica i la seua manera de treballar, que es van proposar produir un llargmetratge sobre el moviment. Lydon i Kang van acabar abandonant la feina, cedint la major part de les seues possessions i tornant-se rodamóns per pròpia voluntat durant quatre anys per tal de permetre's la producció de la pel·lícula. La pel·lícula es divideix en tres seccions: 1) Vida moderna, 2) Fonaments i mentalitat de l'agricultura natural, i 3) Agricultura natural en pràctica i vida. Segons els cineastes, quan començaven a comprendre més coses sobre com la pròpia agricultura natural no s'arrelava en els mètodes, sinó en una manera de pensar, van optar per explorar les filosofies de vida i les maneres de pensar dels professionals de l'agricultura natural en un flux més lliure, i de manera artística, més que instructiva; el resultat és un documental poc convencional que presenta interludis musicals de ritme lent al costat de les entrevistes. Els crítics l'han valorat tant amb "una valoració meditativa i conscient" com "una crida inspiradora a l'acció". L'autora i música va qualificar la pel·lícula com a “és tant art com un documental”. - Final Straw: Food, Earth, Happiness is a documentary/art film released in June 2015 that takes audiences through farms and urban landscapes in Japan, South Korea, and the United States, interviewing leading practitioners in the natural farming movement. The film—inspired by the work of Masanobu Fukuoka, and his book The One Straw Revolution—came about when an environmental artist (Patrick M. Lydon) and an environmental book editor (Suhee Kang) had a chance meeting in Seoul, South Korea, and began conducting short interviews together with leaders in the ecology and social justice movements. During an interview with Korean farmer Seong Hyun Choi, the two were so impressed by his ecological mindset and way of working that they set out to produce a feature film about the wider natural farming movement in Japan and Korea. Lydon and Kang ended up quitting their jobs, giving away most of their possessions, and becoming voluntarily homeless for four years in order to afford producing the film. The film is split into three sections 1) Modern Life, 2) Foundations and Mindset of Natural Farming, and 3) Natural Farming in Practice and Life. According to the filmmakers, as they began to understand more about how natural farming itself was not rooted in methods, but in a way of thinking, they chose to explore the life philosophies and ways of thinking of natural farming practitioners in a more free-flowing and artistic way, rather than an instructive one; the result is an unconventional documentary that features slow paced musical interludes alongside interviews.
