- الشرطة الاتحادية (بالإنجليزية:Federal Police، بالإسبانية: Policía Federal) أو (PF) عُرفت سابقاً باسم الشرطة الإتحادية الوقائية (بالإسبانية: Policía Federal Preventiva). شرطة مكسيكية تابعة للأمانة العامة للداخلية. ويطلق على منتسبيها بالعامية اسم «فيديراليس»، غالباً مايكون منتسبيها مدججين بالسلاح ويرتدون بزات عسكرية باللون الأزرق الداكن أو الأسود. أسست الشرطة الإتحادية بدمج أربع منظمات إتحادية في عام 1998 و 1999، من أجل تنسيق أفضل بين الوكالات ضد خطر العصابات المنظمة المتنامي. دُمجت شرطة الطرق السريعة، الشرطة المالية، وحدة التحقيق السرية في وزارة الداخلية ومركز الأمن الوطني لتشكل الوكالة الحالية. كما يوجد قسم تحقيقات في الشرطة الإتحادية. للتحقيق في الجرائم الإتحادية تديرهُ وكالة الشرطة الإتحادية الوزارية تحت إدارة النائب العام في المكسيك. - The Federal Police (Spanish: Policía Federal, PF), formerly known as the Policía Federal Preventiva (Federal Preventive Police) and sometimes referred to in the U.S. as "Federales", was a Mexican national police force formed in 1999 and folded into the National Guard in 2019. It operated under the authority of the Department of Security and Civil Protection. The Federal Police was formed through the merger of four previously independent federal police agencies — the Federal Highway Police, the Fiscal Police, the Investigation and National Security Center, and the Mexican Army's 3rd Military Police Brigade — and was initially referred to as the Federal Preventive Police. Throughout its 20 year existence, the Federal Police was dogged by allegations of widespread corruption and abuse — allegations which President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said influenced his administration's decision to disband the force. Since its disbandment, two high-ranking commanders have been arrested for offences they committed while leading the Federal Police. The police force was 1,870,406,000 pesos in debt to creditors, members of the public, and former employees when it was disbanded. (en)
- La Policía Federal (PF) fue el cuerpo policial de los Estados Unidos Mexicanos, con carácter de órgano desconcentrado de la Secretaría de Gobernación creado a partir de una restructuración de la Policía Federal Preventiva, con la publicación de la Ley de la Policía Federal en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el 1 de junio de 2009 por el presidente Felipe Calderón como brazo operativo en la lucha contra la delincuencia organizada. El 1 de octubre de 2019, la Policía Federal inició su liquidación con la publicación en el Diario Oficial de la Federación el acuerdo por el que se emitieron los lineamientos para la transferencia de los recursos humanos, materiales y financieros que tiene asignados la Policía Federal a la Guardia Nacional, junto al proceso de absorción en conjunto a la Policía Militar y la Policía Naval.
