It was made in Korea at the Unsung and Saein plants, and features a single cutaway design similar to a Gibson ES-175 albeit without the florentine design. The Alleykat is a semi-hollow body guitar that features one wood block under the bridge to improve sustain and reduce feedback. It was available in two colors, Heritage Cherry Sunburst and Trans Black, however a Natural finish option was listed on their website before being removed sometime between 2005 and 2006. The Alleykat line was discontinued by Epiphone in 2008.
